useradd <target> [<user>] [-c <file>] [-s <shell>] [-d <directory>] [-u <uid>] [-g <gid>] [-f <full name>] [-r <room number>] [-w <work phone>] [-h <home phone>] [-o <other>]
By executing this utility you can create an user account on a cluster of passwdd hosts. The useradd utility connects to each host that is specified in the passwdc.conf(5) configuration file and sends add user request. Such request is allowed to be made only from an authorized administrator.
The first and the only mandatory argument of the command is the login name of the user for whose you want to create an account. You may want to send the request not as the user who is currently logged on. In such case you should explicitly specify a user name as the second argument.
useradd recognizes these options:
Use the file specifed as a parameter of the option to configure the daemon.
The login shell for the new user. If not specified, the default passwdd shell will be used. The specified shell should be valid for all target hosts. See the shells(5) reference entry for more information.
The home directory of the new user. This directory will be created on each target host.
The user id of the new user. If omitted the next default one will be used.
The group id of the new user. If omitted a default group specific to each host is assigned.
The full name of the new user. This value is optional and is used for the gecos field.
The room number of the new user. This value is optional and is used for the gecos field.
The work phone of the new user. This value is optional and is used for the gecos field.
The home phone of the new user. This value is optional and is used for the gecos field.
The miscellaneous gecos field of the new user. This value is optional and is used for the gecos field. Only the superuser has the rights to change this value.
Configuration data for the useradd utility. For more information see the passwdc.conf(5) manpage.
If not-null the full pathname for an alternate configuration file. Overridden by the -c option.
There should be some. If you found one or more of them send a mail and I will do my best to fix them.
